Part: 3 The Mysterious Girl
Next whole day, I kept wondering why would she lie to me. She is Ahana for me until everything becomes clear. At night, Jack gave me the file of Anaya Raichand who is Ahana. I’m sitting in my study room. I opened the file and automatically a small smile spread across my face as I saw her photo.
“She’s so beautiful.” I murmured, tracing her photo with hand.
I started reading the information which detective Jack has gathered about her. She’s the wife of Sameer Raichand who is the owner of a famous magazine company, and she’s the daughter of Mr Rajat Rajput and Mrs Saloni Rajput who are famous personality. I read all pages. Where she goes every day, everything has been mentioned in the file. I’m still wondering why she told her that she is Ahana if she’s Anaya. Everything is so confusing. I closed my eyes and rested my head against the chair.
What I should do? She’s not ready to talk to me.
I opened my eyes suddenly and my lips curved into a broad smile as an idea came into my mind to know about her in deep. She told me that she doesn’t have permission to talk to the male which means she can talk to the female. I can take the help of Siya in this. Maybe she would talk to Siya.
I stood up and dashed out of my study room. I knocked on the door of Siya’s room. She’s taking too long to open the door. As I lifted my hand to again knock the door, she opened the door. She’s breathing heavily and her face is pale. She’s looking a bit tensed.
“Is everything alright, Siya?” I asked concernedly, placing my hand over her shoulder.
She gave me a forceful smile. “Yup, everything is fine.” She answered, touching her face and avoiding eye contact. Now, what is wrong with her?
“Are you sure, everything is fine, Siya?” I clasped her face. “You know that if something is there, you can share it with me.”
She smiled genuinely now. “Everything is fine, Riyan. You tell me what happened?” She asked.
“I need your help. Can we talk now?” I asked she nodded her head.
We settled down on the sofa of her room. I told her about my second meet with Ahana and her name confusion.
“I know something is wrong with her and she needs help, I want to help her at any cost and for that, I want to know about her. I want you to become a friend of her. Maybe she shares something with you and we can help her. Could you do this?” I asked, looking at her having hope in my eyes.
“Of course, Riyan, anything for you.” We smiled at each other. “Don’t worry, we will help her out.”
“Thank you,” I thanked her before standing up.
I came back to the room and slumped on the bed, wondering about her. There are so many questions in my mind which only Ahana can answer. Why she is running away from me? What is her pain? Does her husband torture her? She’s Ahana or Anaya? What is the truth? Oh God, she’s a big mystery. I can’t sleep properly until I get my all answers.
I sat on the bed, holding my head. I’m getting restless. I want to drink to relax my mind but I can’t because I have a problem in my liver which is life-threatening. The doctor has strictly denied me from drinking Alcohol. Today after a long time, I’m craving to drink Alcohol.
I spent the night, wandering across the room, I’m becoming more and more restless with each passing day. I should take the sleeping pills tonight or else I will lose my mind. I don’t know why I’m thinking so much about that girl.
Next day in the evening I reached to the orphanage with Siya. I show her the photo of Ahana.
“Try to come close to her. I’m waiting for you here.” I instructed her and she nodded her head.
She climbed out of the car. She glanced at me and turned to walk toward the orphanage. After a few minutes, Ahana also reached there. She’s wearing a pink summer gown, her long black hair is open and she’s looking so beautiful like every day. I smiled, gazing at her. The guard opened the door for her as she reached there. She stopped and turned around to look something. She turned back and stepped inside.
After an hour, Siya came back. She sighed deeply after sitting inside the car and turned her face to me.
“Did she talk to you?” As I asked, she nodded her head.
I was talking to one of the children in the garden when Ahana came there. All children rushed to her. She knelt down and smiled at them. She’s really beautiful.
“Ahana Didi, we want to make you meet someone.” A girl told her.
Ahana narrowed her brows and asked. “Who?”
“Our new didi, Siya didi.” The kid pointed at me and Ahana’s eyes swept to me.
I smiled at her, her face remained serious. She stood up and strolled towards me.
“Hi, I’m Siya Malhotra.” I introduced myself to her, holding out my hand as she reached in front of me.
“I’m Ahana Kapoor.” We shook the hand, smiling at each other. She told me her name Ahana to me too. Why she’s not telling her real name?
“By the way, I haven’t seen you before here,” I came on the earth back after listening to her words.
“I came here to donate some money and thought to spend some time with the kids.” As I told her, she looked at the kids.
“They are my only peace.” She uttered, her eyes still gazing at the kids. “I only smile because of them.” She added after looking back at me.
“Is everything alright?” I asked instantly.
“My life is filled with pain and I’m so helpless that I can’t even take anybody’s help to come out of the pain.” She’s sounding upset and depressed. Riyan was saying right, she really needs our help. I can also see the pain in her eyes. Now I also want to know what is her pain and why can’t she take anybody’s help. I want to help her out.
“At least you can share with me because pain reduces on sharing with others.” I tried to convince her to share her pain with me.
“Why you want to know about my pain?” She asked, staring at me incredulously.
“Because you’re sounding so upset and I can’t see people like this around me. I would be happy if I could help you.” I answered her. That’s true, I really can’t see people upset around me. I love to see people smiling faces.
“You’re a nice person, Siya. I wish, I could take your help, but I can’t. Nobody can help me because I’m trapped in this pain.” She uttered sadly, her eyes are filled with extreme pain.
Before I could ask something more, kids came and asked us to play with them. We played with them and before leaving I gave my number to her.
“You shouldn’t stop trying from coming out of your pain. The pain is as big as we make it. This is my number, if someday you want to share your pain, you can call me and I hope you can come out of your pain soon.” I gave my business card to her.
“It is nice to meet you, Ahana. I hope we meet again.” I said.
“I hope we never meet again because I don’t want to put your life in danger.” I narrowed my brows after listening to her words.
“What do you mean?” I asked instantly.
“Nothing, just forget it.” She turned around and left. I stood there clueless. Why will my life come in danger if we meet again? I’m confused. I hope she calls me soon.
“She’s really a mystery. I really want to help her, Siya.” I spoke when she finished telling me everything.
“Now I also want to help her and want to know about her pain. She was sounding so depressed, Riyan.”
“I just hope she calls you.”
“I hope so too.” She sighed, resting her head against the seat.
I want to help her as soon as possible because I want to see a smile on her beautiful face. My eyes are craving to see her smiling face. I don’t know what is happening to me, I just know one thing that I’ll get relief only after taking her out of the pain and bringing a smile on her face. I don’t know why but I’m ready to do anything for her.
